It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "RUDOLPH (RUDY) KULBABA, Born: Dec 01, 1929, Date of Passing: Nov 23, 2016; In the early morning of November 23, Rudy passed away peacefully after a brief, but insurmountable, battle with mesothelioma. Rudy was born in Brokenhead, Manitoba to Barbar".a and John Kulbaba. He lived on the family farm until the bright lights of Winnipeg called to him. He married Bernice Mazur in 1955. They have two daughters, Charlene and Cindy. Dad lived life to the fullest and had many adventures and more stories. He taught himself to play guitar and joined a band. He worked hard at various jobs before becoming a milkman in Winnipeg. After a few years, he applied to the Winnipeg School Division #1 where he stayed until he retired. Once their children were grown, Dad and Mom began to travel. Their travels took them as far north as Alaska and Northwest Territories and as far south as Hawaii with many stops in between. After his family, Rudy loved fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, the Maple Leafs, the Jets, and the Blue Jays. Rudy leaves to mourn his devoted true love of 61 years, Bernice, their daughters Charlene (Drew), and Cindy (Brad), granddaughters Victoria (Gavin) and Vanessa, his sister Helen Trafiak, numerous sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Mike, Bill and Pete, and numerous in-laws. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the Palliative Care given to Dad. A service to celebrate Rudy's life will be held on Tuesday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Flowers are gratefully declined, a donation can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
