It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "SUZANNE REY, BORN: JUL 31, 1953; Peacefully, at the age of 62, Suzanne Rey (née Burgoyne) got her wings and was called up to heaven. She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Gerald, her two daughters Annik Borsboom and Nathalie Dubois, four grandchi".ldren Essa, Nolan, Cameron and Owen. One sister Gisele Hebert (Larry); four brothers Lionel, Bob (Patricia), Ron (Cindy) and Roger (Jacqueline). As well as Gerald's family; Augustine, Roger Debreuil, Marguerite Rey, Aline (Gérald) Bourrier, Robert (Cécilia) and Hélène (Christian) Françoise; and several nieces and nephews that held a special place close to her heart. She was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Marie Louise (née Dupasquier) Burgoyne; her in-laws Auguste and Louise (Carel) Rey; brothers-in-law Gerald Hebert and Denis Rey, sisters-in-law Madeleine Rey, Odile Debreuil and Marielle (nee Charrière) Burgoyne. Her story started on July 31, 1953. Born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. She grew up in a loving and very busy home surrounded by family. Extended Family did not exist as they were all so close, like brothers and sisters. Pictures were proof of this love and how much Suzanne cherished them. Suzanne had many loves but the one that shone the brightest was the love for her grandchildren. They were the centre of her universe and her greatest joy. She loved spending time with them and was present in their lives right from the day they were born. You would often hear her brag about them and of their accomplishments, big or small, it was all the same to her. She was their biggest fan. The love that consumed her the longest was the love for her "rock", Gerald. They met when they were very young and it was love at first sight. They were married in the summer of 1973 on a beautiful sunny day in July. They planted their roots in St. Claude and started their careers and family. That's where their story begins. The unconditional love came in the form of their daughters, her angels Annik and Nathalie. Spending several years at home raising them was one of the greatest gifts she could ever give. Her unselfishness was evident as she gave everything she had to her family without hesitation. Many family trips taken to Thunder Bay, Gimli, Banff and camping will always be fondly remembered as a happy time, a time free from pain. Her legacy will live on through her family. She is gone but never forgotten. Special thanks to Dr. Finney and the staff at Portage District General Hospital for the excellent care Mom received in her last days . Funeral services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 23, 2015. Video tribute at 1:45 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Mgr. Roger Bazin officiating. "The long and winding road That leads to your door Will never disappear I've seen that road before It always leads me here Lead me to your door" Love you Mom, Mémè and NeinNein In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
