Pierre fut précédé au paradis par un fils à la naissance, ses parents, Paul et Rosa Magne, ses frères Jean, Alban et Charles et sa soeur Odile, ses beaux-parents Auguste et Blanche Badiou. Pierre was born and raised in (Beaconsfield) Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Manitoba. He and Marcelle lived on the centennial family farm until their move to town in 1992. He farmed a number of years and later dedicated time to another career, that of electrician. Pierre enjoyed reading, woodworking, puzzles, card playing, and travelling. Prayers and Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Notre Dame Catholic Church, Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, MB, with Père Armand Le Gal as celebrant. Prayers and eulogy will be held at 2:00 p.m. prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fondation Santé Notre Dame Health Foundation Inc., C. P.190, Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0. Heartfelt gratitude to family, friends, and all the staff and caregivers who supported Pierre throughout his illness. Your many acts of kindness never went unnoticed and were greatly appreciated. The family would also like to specially thank Doctors Fortier, Bérard and Hamilton, Père Le Gal, Adam's Funeral Home, as well as all the dedicated and compassionate staff of the Foyer Notre Dame and the Notre Dame Hospital who went above and beyond the call of duty in providing love and kindness to him and his loved ones.
