Dad was a long haul truck driver. There aren't too many places in North America that Dad hadn't travelled to and brought home many stories to share. Before Dad retired at the age of 70, he received his million miles award with Yanke transport, although over the years he had driven millions of miles. Through his years, he had achieved many awards for safe driving. He was a part of the Manitoba Trucker's Association, where he had won many titles in the MTA Trucking Rodeos. Dad was also qualified to train Class One student drivers. After Dad retired, there wasn't a BBQ he would miss. He loved it when his kids and grandkids would come visit on weekends.
