      It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "BERNADETTE DURAND (VIGIER), Born: Mar 01, 1908, Date of Passing: Sep 26, 2000; At her residence as per her wishes, Bernadette Durand passed away in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Man., on Tuesday, September 26, 2000, at the age of 92 years. She was devote".d to her family and will be sadly missed by her three children, Rita, Noel and Luc and their respective families. She was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1985. Born at Cardinal, Man., on March 1, 1908, she was the only surviving child of Francois and Gabrielle Vigier who immigrated to Canada from Lozere, France in 1891. Mom will always be remembered for her culinary skills by the many family and friends who shared a repast at her table. Funeral service will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Notre Dame de Lourdes on Saturday, September 30. Prayer services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Father Raymond Bremaud will celebrate the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish Cemetery following the mass. Bernadettes family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the Home Care staff, nurse Pat Brooks and Dr. Fortier for the care and compassion shown to Mom. Special thanks to her nurse Anne Lindsay who, through her guidance and devotion, provided Mom with the exemplary care required to realize her wish to spend her final days in her own home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadettes memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
