Mme Blanche Roch est entrée dans la Lumière du Seigneur le samedi 14 mars 2009 à l’hôpital de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, à l’âge de 87 ans. Son époux, Emmanuel Roch, l’avait précédée le 5 avril 2002, ainsi que son frère aîné, Marcel, décédé à sa naissance en 1905.
Son souvenir restera gravé dans le cœur de ses enfants : Robert (Hélène Gaudreau), Lorraine (Raymond) Le Moullec, Roland et Normand, des ses douze petits-enfants : Micheline (Geoffroi Montpetit), Hélène (Mario Galardo) et Jean Roch ainsi que leur mère, Yvonne Asselin; Lise (Stéphane Lesage), Marc (Marlene Kucharsky), Serge (Krystal Rheault), René et Stéfane Le Moullec (Lindsay Neudorf); Lizanne (Sven Hombach), Joël, Francine (Olivier Beauchamp) et Nicole Roch (Stephan Klein) ainsi que leur mère, Gisèle Saurette et dans celui de ses dix arrière-petits-enfants. Sa mémoire restera également présente pour ses trois sœurs : Yvonne Dupasquier, Germaine Dupasquier et Suzanne Tremblay, ses trois belles-sœurs : Isabelle Roch, Ida Roch et Clémence Roch ainsi que pour tous les autres membres de sa famille et ses nombreux amis.
La famille désire remercier toutes les personnes qui ont contribué à la qualité de sa vie, particulièrement à celles qui ont partagé sa passion des cartes, du bingo ou du shuffleboard. Un merci spécial aux gens du Club d’Âge d’Or ainsi qu’au personnel du Foyer Notre-Dame qui a pris soin de notre père Emmanuel, que notre mère allait voir tous les jours lorsqu’elle le pouvait.
Un remerciement bien senti aux médecins et au personnel de l’Hôpital Notre-Dame qui l’ont accompagnée au cours de ses derniers jours afin de lui assurer le meilleur confort possible et de permettre à sa famille d’être à ses côtés durant cette épreuve.
Les prières auront lieu le jeudi 19 mars 2009 à 19 h, au salon funéraire Adam. La messe sera célébrée par l’abbé Léon Mubikayi le vendredi 20 mars à 11 h, en l’église catholique de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Le salon funéraire Adam assume la direction des funérailles.
