CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project debuted in 2004 as a volunteer project of CanadaGenWeb. Our project currently offers a free directory of known Canadian cemeteries, their names, locations, histories and where research materials can be located. Cemeteries, besides being a lasting memorial, are a valuable research tool for genealogists and family history buffs. We aim to help by bringing as much information about Canadian cemeteries to this project as possible.
Our volunteer built database offers a variety of information geared towards genealogists:

Links to repositories & genealogy organizations that offer further information and/or assistance
Lookup offers, transcripts, indexes and photos contributed by volunteers
