The history of Robitailles in North America begins around 1670 with the arrival of the Robitaille brothers from Artois, France.
They first settled in the seigneury of Gaudarville near Québec City. Then, from generation to generation, the Robitailles spread all around.
Many achieved great notoriety, whether in politics, sports or the arts.
