TUGG - Toronto Ukrainian Genealogy Group

TUGG operates out of the St Vladimir Institute, which is located at 620 Spadina Avenue, in Toronto.



TUGG provides lectures, guidance, assistance and instructions to its members. It undertakes research in the fields of Ukrainian genealogy and upon completion of such research, makes it known to the participants.



TUGG is a non-profit cultural and educational organization consisting of persons interested in tracing their ancestors, locating missing relatives, finding the origin and meaning of their surnames and gaining an overall knowledge of Ukrainian genealogy, heraldry, culture, ethnicity, history and geography,



Along with publishing a quarterly newsletter with information on Ukrainian genealogy it is also assembling and maintaining a library of related publications. TUGG also networks with other genealogy groups.
