Brant Argyle Cemetery, Argyle, RM of Rockwood, Manitoba, Canada

Notes:
The Brant-Argyle Cemetery was begun in 1881 and is restricted for the use of those who are or were residents of the area historically recognized as the Brant-Argyle community. It is operated by the Brant-Argyle Cemetery Board Inc. as a volunteer Board that manages the sale of plots, grounds maintenance, placement of burials and permanent markers, and records.



The cemetery is located ½ mile north of the village of Argyle, on the east side of the Meridian Road.The cemetery includes a cenotaph listing the war dead, a cairn where the original church stood, a model replica of the church, a picnic table, and a toilet. Surrounded by evergreen trees, it is a sheltered and peaceful final resting place for Argyle's residents.



Note that there is a Visitors drawer at the rear of the little church, which contains a cemetery map and record of burials, along with a guest book (and previous guest books that are filled). Please feel free to browse through the guest entries and leave one of your own!
