The entrance gate to Queen's Lawn Cemetery was erected as a memorial to the men and women of Grimsby and North Grimsby, who gave their lives during the First World War, 1914-1918. The memorial gate was unveiled on Saturday, August 27, 1921 as part of the Old Boys and Girls Reunion.



The Town of Grimsby owns and maintains the Queen's Lawn Cemetery located at 109 Main Street East in the heart of Grimsby. All of the plots in this cemetery have been sold and active burials will continue in those plots.
