LENA GENDRE, BORN: NOV 08, 1913, DATE OF PASSING: MAR 12, 2008; Peacefully on March 12, 2008 at Vista Park Lodge our Auntie Lena was called home to rest. Born in Teulon, MB on November 8, 1913 to Fred and Mary Leshyshen. Schooled in Teulon and then went to Winnipeg to work. She leaves to mourn her nephew Paul and wife Audrey, great-niece Paula (Lorne and children, Ryan, Raelyn, Robyn), great-nephews, Dave and Jeff, Brad, Steve and Craig. A big thanks to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for the care and comfort they gave to our Auntie Lena. Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She's home with her Eddie , parents, sisters Nettie and Jean, nephew Allan and numerous relations and friends. How do you say goodbye To someone you hold so dear How do you say goodbye When all you want is to have her near. So how do you say goodbye? Do you have to say goodbye? I say I don't - for you will always Be alive, in my heart and mind.
