Be drove truck and Diane took care of their family, Christiane, Ronald, and Josie. In 1976, the moved to Treherne to take over the family farm. To help support, Diane worked at Dalebozik Potato Farm sorting potatoes and later started part time in the Treherne Hospital Kitchen. She took online courses and was promoted to Head Cook. She loved her job working with her staff and trying out new recipes for staff and residents. When Josie graduated, Diane got her Class 1 license and she and Be hit the road until they retired in 2006. Diane loved to spend time with her 7 grandchildren and was always up for an outing with her sisters and mother and a Berard party!
