It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "MARCEL JAMAULT, Date of Passing: Aug 06, 2018; Le lundi 6 août, entouré de sa famille, Marcel Jamault, époux bien-aimé d'Yvonne, est décédé à l'âge de 81 ans. MARCEL JAMAULT 1936 - 2018 On Monday, August 6, surrounded by his family, Marcel Jamault, beloved husband of Yvonne, passed away at the age of 81. He will join in heaven many loved ones who preceded him, his father Georges (1940), his cherished mother Analda (1997), his sister Georgette (1933) and his parents-in-law, Paul and Rosa Magne. Marcel leaves in mourning his daughter Maryvonne (Robert) Alarie and his sons, Philippe (Crystal) and Bertrand (Sandy). He was also Grandpère to Véronique (Olen) and Annie Alarie; Josée (Tyson) Jones, Tania and Renée (Adam) Jamault; and Lee Cipuzak. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Everett and Oliver Jones. His will be missed by his four sisters: Yvonne Jamault, sds, Thérèse Fouasse-Fontaine (André*, Jean-Charles*), Annette Leclerc (Wilbrod) and Odette Gagné (Gaétan). His family-in-law consists of: Delphine Magne (Charles*), Yvette Labossière (Alban*, Emile*), Marcelle Magne (Pierre*), Odile Cherpin* (Eugène*), Jean*, Bruno* (Lucille), Antoine (Odile) et Thérèse Magne-Trudel (Fabien*, Célestin Alarie*). Marcel was born in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Having lost his father at the tender age of four, he was doted on by his mother and his sisters. Marcel was a teacher his entire life and he earned his degree of Master of Education in 1972. He taught in several rural schools and then in the city for the Winnipeg School Division, ending his career as principal at Ecole Sacré-Coeur. Marcel did a lot of camping and travelling with his young family. He later found his piece of paradise at his cottage in Saint-Malo, enjoying it both in winter and in summer. This is where he loved to greet and entertain family, friends and guests. After their retirement, he and Yvonne enjoyed several trips throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. Marcel was a person with many beautiful qualities. He gave himself fully for the happiness of his family, his loved ones and his students. He was completely devoted to his career as a teacher and principal. A good Christian, he lived his faith and gave of himself generously and freely for the benefit of his loved ones. As a husband and father, he knew to spread love, peace, generosity and joy with his sense of humour. He had the ability to succeed at everything he set his mind to. Marcel will not be forgotten and his memory will live on. Even though this step seems difficult to go through, the faith that he passed on to his loved ones will inspire us always. A special thank you to Dr. P.G. Mehta for his compassionate and attentive care. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11 at the Saint-Boniface Cathedral, with the eulogy beginning at 9:45 a.m. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
