LINA GUERET, BORN: OCT 18, 1924, DATE OF PASSING: JUN 22, 2021; We are sad to announce the passing of our mother Lina. The last of her generation, she was predeceased by her husband of 72+ years, Raymond Gueret six days prior, her parents, Guillaume and Francoise (née Chateau) Boulic, her siblings and in-laws and her son-in-law James Kennedy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anne (Claude Labossiere), Jocelyne Kennedy, Mona (Raymond Souque), Gilles (Diane), Alice (Denis Daudet), Martin (Darci) and Patrick.
Mom cherished her moments with her 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mom was an equal partner on the farm in St. Lupicin. Moving to St. Boniface in the early 1970s, Mom found part time employment at Eaton's downtown which she enjoyed.
Great times were held at Twin Beaches but cottage life in Haywood was spent gardening and riding her golf cart around the 80 acres.
A special thank you to the staff on the second floor at Actionmarguerite St. Vital for their compassion and care during these difficult times of Covid.
May you both rest in peace,
you are together again.
There will be no funeral service at this time due to Covid restrictions.
