It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "George Le Floch, 1946 - 2023; Peacefully at the Portage Hospital on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, George Le Floch of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 77 years.".
A life well lived and deeply loved, George leaves his wife Elaine (MacKenzie) of 42 years; sons Jean-Paul (Andrea Crandell), Raymond (Lizanne Préjet), and Patrick (Angela Fehr); grandchildren, Madeleine, Emilie, Félix, Geneviève, Alexandre, Alayna and Logan; and siblings, Norbert, Lionel and Jeannine.
George was predeceased by his parents Félix and Denise Le Floch (née Dagesse) and by his parents-in-law, William John and Donalda Melvina MacKenzie (née Gladu).
A man of faith, farmer at heart, dedicated family man, what more could we ask for. In his younger years he enjoyed curling for relaxation. Later in life his interest was fishing. Working with his sons and grandchildren gave him great pleasure.
We are grateful for the prayers and support given to us during George’s short battle with lung cancer. Thank You to all his health care workers.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church. Rosary, eulogy and video at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Peter Le Van Ngu officiating.
The service will be available to view via Live Streaming. If you would like your name to appear in the guestbook please email your name to office@afh.ca
