FRANCES REGINA LENZ 1923 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Lenz (nee Pilla), mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Al, her parents, Frank and Maria Catherina, her stepmother Lil, her brother Art, and her sister Marj. Left to mourn her passing are her ten children: Frances (Gus), Lambert (Brenda), Eleanor (Ron), Barbara, Ron (Janice), Robert (Linda), Mervin (Esther), Gordon (Louanne), Doug (Sherry), Linda (Rob), as well as her 28 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Florence (Lorne), and many nieces and nephews. Mom enjoyed knitting, camping and fishing, but most of all, spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 304-1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6 (phone 231-4885). Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Blessed John XXIII Parish, 3390 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
