GLEN ARTHUR YEREX, BORN: APR 14, 1935, DATE OF PASSING: MAY 04, 2013; With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Glen, beloved husband of Verna Yerex. A private graveside service was held at Neepawa Cemetery, Friday, May 10, 2013. Glen was a construction worker for the City of Winnipeg, Maple Leaf Construction and Borland Construction. He loved and played baseball, and is in the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame. He also loved hockey and football. He leaves to mourn his wife Verna, brother Daune (Joan), sisters Erma Massing, Carol Carson (Ed), brothers-in-law, Jim Fleger, John Williamson, John Wood, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Noble and Irene, brother Max, sister and brother-in-law Sibyl and Galvin Burton, sisters, Ardyth Wood, Norma Fleger, Mavis Williamson, Muriel Bell, and brothers-in-law, Al Bell and Cliff Massing. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Glen's favourite expression was "May God Bless". We will miss his wonderful humour and May God Bless him.
