She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Marilyne (Mark) LeClair and Jacqueline (Lucien) Dubois; her grandchildren, Matthew (Tracey), Jason and Nicolas (Gabby); her great-grandchildren, Sydni and David. She also leaves to mourn her siblings, Jeannette (Richard) Pashelka and Gerald (Alice) Thorimbert; her sister-in-law Yvonne Lacroix; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband Guy Lacroix; her parents, Alice and Léon Thorimbert; her sister Simone Grandmont; brothers-in-law, Hilaire Grandmont and Denis Lacroix as well as her nephew Raymond Lacroix.
Agnes was a bright, shining light who exuded positive energy, she was the epitome of “Joie de Vivre”. She enjoyed entertaining, making gourmet meals and setting a nice table for people to enjoy. She was generous with her compliments and had a way to make everyone feel special and at home.
Mom’s greatest pride and joy was her family and she was their greatest supporter. She travelled the province cheering them on, whether at curling or hockey rinks, music festivals or school plays. Mom’s true passion was music. She always knew who was playing where and when in the music scene. Her eyes would light up whenever she heard live music.
The family would like to thank Dr. Reimer, Jill, the palliative and home care teams for their amazing support, care and for guiding her through her battle with cancer. We would also like to thank Dr. Lanouette and the staff at the Ste Anne’s Hospital for their wonderful care during her final days.
A Prayer Service will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the St. Claude Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
