      Peacefully at the Foyer Notre Dame on Tuesday January 18, 2022, Mme Marie Vuignier (née Tranq) of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 90 years.

      She leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Claudette (Steve) Todd, Robert (Kim) Vuignier and Murielle (Normand) Rosset; ten grandchildren: Norman (Melissa), Gilles (Jeannine), Patrick (Jennifer), Richard (Sandy), Joey (Racine), Liane (Terry), Janelle (Shaun), Monica (Alex), Yanick (Beth) and Yves (Arielle); and her great grandchildren: Tyler, Brett, Jeremy, Brianne, Madilyn, Nicholas, Rogan, Blake, Evan, Adalie, Sebastien, Dominic, Xavier. She also leaves to mourn her two sisters-in-law: Helene Tranq and Sr Odile Vuignier and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

      Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Adélard (2008), two sons Laurent (1954) and Denis (2003); one daughter-in-law Madeleine (2002); her parents Auguste and Elise (née Thorimbert); her twin sister Elise Vuignier (née Tranq); her brothers Raymond Tranq and Marcel Tranq.

      Mom was a loving and caring wife and mother, and an all around generous person. She spent her life helping others, was on numerous committees, worked as a Health Care aid for many years and devoted her life to caring for her community. Mom had a special devotion to her church and her religion which helped her with her journey through life.

      Heart felt thanks to the staff at the Foyer Notre Dame for their compassionate care and support; and to L'abbé Alain for the many visits.

      Private Funeral services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home, on Tuesday January 25, 2022. Memorial service beginning at 1:15 p.m. followed by Mass at 1:30 p.m
