EDMOND EMILE TEILLET, DATE OF PASSING: JAN 12, 2007; It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, and great-grandfather Ed Teillet, on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 73 years of age. Ed leaves us to join his parents, Camille and Sara (Riel); brothers, Roger and his wife Jeanne, Ted, Louis, Camille and Joe; sisters, Eleanor, Pauline and her husband Georges Chabot; Fran and her husband John de Jong; Yolande and Bill Schick and Donna. Ed was a loved and loving father, grandfather and friend. His memory will be cherished by his children, Paula (Herman van Solkema), Diana, JoAnn (Vern Bloomfield) and his seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Ryan, Adam, Niki, Brittany and Jade and four great-grandchildren Trentin, Brooklyn, Aiden and Mackenzie; his sister Marie and her husband Gus Thorimbert; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Eveline and many nephews and nieces and a very special friend Marilyn. A great-nephew of Louis Riel, Ed was born in St. Vital on May 11, 1933, the youngest of 11 children. Ed thoroughly enjoyed being with family and enjoyed barbeques at the Schick's or just having a heated political argument. He was always easy to talk to and had lots of wisdom to pass on. Even though the last couple of years were hard on him he never let it show to family and would cheer right up when anyone would call. We will miss him but we know he is with Donna and family. In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service to celebrate Dad's life is to be held on Friday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ed's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM in care of arrangements
