Dad loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed working in his garden, cooking, music and dancing, reading, listening to the piano, and spending time with his family. Dad was a colourful character and everyone who really knew him knew the kindness and warmth within him. To celebrate Victor's life, a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverton Community Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. S.V. Patel and the wonderful nurses and staff at the Gimli Health Centre for the excellent care they gave to Dad and the support and kindness shown to us all. If so desired, donations in Victor's memory may be made to the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church or to the Riverton Community Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
