      He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 49 years, Pat; his children, Daniel (Liz), Marc (Diana), Collette (Caleb) and Rachelle (Ryan); his grandchildren, Xavier, Phoenix, Juliet, Emily, Ethan, Elliot, Sullivan and Zander. He also leaves his mother Lucienne Philippe and mother-in-law Rollande Walker; his siblings, Gilbert (Sylvia) Philippe and Marielle (Thomas) Beregon; his sisters-in-law, Betty (Robert) Green, Barb (Reg) Marginet, Judy (Dave) Rea, Brenda (Bill) Nostedt, Cindy (Gord) Maddock, Sheila (Doug) Lawless, Kelly (Rick) Lounsbury, Cateland (Greg) Penner, Connie (Doug) Petersen and Sandra (Daren) Hird, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

      Norm is predeceased by his father Émile Philippe, his father-in-law Bill Walker, his nephew Tony Nostedt and niece Luce Lavertu.

      Born and raised in St. Claude, MB, Norm later moved to Winnipeg, where he met the love of his life, Pat. They married in 1975 and have been together for over 50 years. Norm dedicated his career to the automotive industry, becoming a respected figure in his field. Upon retirement, he moved to his beloved acreage in Carman where he devoted countless hours tending to his yard and garden, taking great pride in creating a beautiful outdoor space.

      An avid outdoorsman, Norm enjoyed hunting, camping, golfing, and curling. He had a passion for photography and was often the one behind the camera, capturing cherished family moments. Together with wife, Pat, he traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and Canada, creating lasting memories along the way. Norm was also deeply committed to his community, volunteering with the Knights of Columbus, St. Daniels School, and his local church. He will be fondly remembered for his warm smile and quick wit, which brought joy to all who knew him.

      Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carman, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. The service will be available to view via live streaming at www.afh.ca

      Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
