She will be remembered by her children, Gilbert (Sylvia) Philippe and Marielle (Tom) Bergeron, and daughter-in-law Pat Philippe; her grandchildren, Jacques, Nicole, Suzanne (Jeff), Paul (Pauline), Ginette (Mark), Roger (Rachel), Daniel (Liz), Marc (Diana), Collette (Caleb), Rachelle (Ryan) and Michael (Shauna); and her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kerri-Ann, Nolan, Hayley, Janelle, Jared, Zoe, Zachary, Kyra, Marcus, Lexi, Zander, Xavier, Phoenix, Juliet, Emily, Ethan, Elliot, Sullivan and Kayden. She also leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law; Valerie Durand, Suzanne Durand and Thérèse (André) Théroux, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Émile, her son Normand, her parents Auguste and Irène Durand; her siblings, Albert Durand, Maurice Durand, Raymond (Thérèse) Durand, Clémence (Jean) Mao and Gabriel (Georgette) Durand; and her in-laws, Gabrielle (Georges) Boille, Yvonne (Gerard) Labossiere, Gustave (Odette) Philippe, Noël Philippe, Madeleine (Joseph) Lachapelle and Hélène (Raymond) Ferrand.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Parish of Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Ave. Memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba.
