Peter Gobin, June 17, 2023; Peter passed away peacefully at the Tuxedo Villa Hospice on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the age of 96 years.
He leaves to mourn five siblings, Claude Gobin, Léo Gobin, Elisabeth Forrest, Edward (Carol) Gobin and Joan Black; one brother-in-law Lou McGowan; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin Gobin, Elizabeth (née Mallet) and Sophie (née Elemond); six siblings, Eugene Gobin, Blanche (George) Breaks, Arthur (Alice) Gobin, Alice McGowan, Adrian Gobin and David Gobin; and by his in-laws, Carla Gobin, Herb Forest and Don Black.
The family has chosen to celebrate Peter’s life privately with a graveside service at a late date at the St. Claude Parish Cemetery.
