She leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Normand (Domenico Piazza); Roger (Louise); Estelle (Roland) Van Deynze and Albert (Beverley ); as well as her thirteen grand- children: Danielle (Albano) Mendes and Martin Dupasquier (Christine Connelly); Marc Dupasquier, Chantal (Jeff) Bassett, Richard Dupasquier and Josée (Shawn) Dorge; Rob (Nadine) Van Deynze, Lillian (Harvey) Klausen, David (Terra) Van Deynze, Darlene (Steven) Cole and Christine Van Deynze; Leah Dupasquier and James (Alicia) Dupasquier. Each of Mom's 19 great grand-children brought her much joy: Alana, Mario and Emila Mendes; Jo and Aurelle Dupasquier; Samuel Bassett; Eric Dorge; Nicholas, Chelsea and Bryson Van Deynze; Jacob and Timothy Klausen; Morgan, Tyler, Kyle and Alex Van Deynze; Gabriel and Declan Cole; and Benjamin Dupasquier.

Germaine will be dearly missed by her two sisters: Yvonne Dupasquier and Suzanne Tremblay and by her four brothers-in-law: Bob (Ginny), Henri (June), Romeo and Maurice Dupasquier.

Germaine was predeceased by her husband, Aurele Dupasquier (1966) and by her beloved daughter, Estelle Carmen (1945). She was also predeceased by her brother, Marcel Mary (1915); her parents, Marie (née Badiou) (1963) and René Mary (1965); and her sister, Blanche Roch (2009).

Mom and Dad were married in Youbou, B.C. on January 27,1942. They later returned to Notre Dame de Lourdes to raise their family on the farm. After Dad's passing, Mom worked as a hairdresser and later as a nurse's aide at the Foyer Notre Dame. In retirement, Mom enjoyed several hobbies: playing cards with her friends, knitting afghans and reading. She faced her illness admirably with much courage which served as an inspiration to all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at the Notre Dame Hospital for the compassionate care that Mom received.

Germaine Dupasquier's funeral will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2 p.m., in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba, with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating.

      Germaine Dupasquier
