YVONNE JEANNE ELISE DUPASQUIER, BORN: FEB 16, 1917, DATE OF PASSING: SEP 27, 2013; In Loving Memory of Our Mom and Grand-maman With hearts full of love and heavy sadness, our beautiful mother left us after a courageous journey on Friday, September 27, 2013, knowing she was loved and surrounded by love. Left to forever cherish our mom's memory are her son Fernand (Lorraine) Dupasquier; her daughters Annette (Georges) Desrochers and Liliane Pilotte (Richard); and Keith Dupasquier; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Joachim; two sons, Hubert and Louis and one son-in-law Robert Pilotte. Yvonne Mary was born on February 16, 1917 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, eldest daughter of René Mary and Marie Badiou. Mom had may hobbies such as shuffleboard, playing cards, bingo, but her greatest passion was knitting. Beauty can be seen on the outside, but her inner beauty was also experienced by those who knew her. She had character, articulated values, depth, integrity, curiosity, a mental toughness and a soft manner. Her smile was a trademark and she lit up whatever space she was in. Above all, she had a great capacity to love. Mom will be remembered for her wonderful character, open mind and being young at heart. The family expresses sincere thanks to all the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital, Ward 6E for their care and concern throughout her illness. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to her home care workers and her friends from Catherine Place. Everyone is welcome to attend Prayers at Adam's Funeral Home on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Martyrs Church, 289 Dussault Ave in Windsor Park on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Prayers, music and the eulogy at 10:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Isaie Blanchette officiating. A memorial video presentation will follow after the service and a lunch will be served.
