URBAIN (BEN) LEON LOUIS ROZIERE, DATE OF PASSING: JAN 31, 2008; After a long and full life, with family at his side, our beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the age of 86. Ben was born in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, MB on January 29, 1922, He was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years Vitaline; brothers Lionel and Raymond; and sisters Jeanne, Clemence, Alice, and Jeannette. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Jeannette, Ben (Jean), Edward (Bev), Michael; grandchildren Tanya (Keith), Robert, Tracy, Roxann, Rylan, Shawna, Christopher (Alyssa); great-grandchildren Dakota, Brayden, Zackarias; brother Roger and sisters Denise, Lucille and Cecile. Ben touched many lives with his generous and giving nature, donating to many causes and charities. He was a kind and friendly person who enjoyed speaking his nature language, French, whenever he could. He was a gifted and skilled craftsman. Leaving for us to enjoy and cherish the many painting he painted, furniture he made, and many toys for his grandchildren. Moving to Winnipeg, MB Ben spent his professional life with Roziere Construction, a company founded by his father and shared with his brother, Raymond. Later retiring in Petersfield, MB in the home he built with his family. Thank you to Selkirk District General Hospital and St. Annes Church in Petersfield for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service held. In lieu of flowers donations in Urbain's name may be made to a Cancer charity of your choice.
