It is described as "marie-bosc".
It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "MARIE BOSC née KOLLY, d.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother.
Marie was born April 8, 1930 in Notre-Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba, daughter of the late Antonie and Joseph Kolly, to whom she was completely devoted. She attended school in Notre-Dame de Lourdes. After her schooling, she worked on the family dairy farm. She especially enjoyed the commercial aspects of door-to-door delivery. On September 29, 1951 she married Norbert Bosc. Their marriage was a true partnership, working together. Marie had an active life looking after her family and actively assisted her husband with his construction business. She always spoke fondly of the years she worked at the locker plant in Bazin`s grocery store. She was an energetic 4-H leader and found creative ways to encourage membership.
In 1975, the family moved to Winnipeg so that Rhéal could attend specialized schooling. After working a year at École Lacerte, Marie enrolled in a commercial secretarial course at the Collège St. Boniface. From there, she worked at the Cathédrale St. Boniface, 7 years as a secretary and 3 years as a manager.
Marie was the happiest when she was the busiest - always helping her family, relatives and friends. Retirement provided her with the opportunity to research an extensive genealogy of the Kolly, Sauteur, Bosc and Vandel families. She always found time for knitting, gardening and reading. Anyone who came accompanied by friends found a place at the table. Of unshakable faith, she gave her life to God and her family, loving each one unconditionally. She has been an inspiration to all her children, her grand-children and her great-grand-children.
Marie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Norbert Bosc, her husband of 65 years; daughters Claudette (Jacques) Saquet, Mariette (René) Saquet, Rachel (Robert) Schenk, sons Denis (Gail Lamoureux) and Rhéal; grand-children Michelle (Joel Gordon), Jean-Claude Saquet, Josée (Kirby Nilsen), Joël (Charlene) Saquet, Kyle, Marc and David Bosc and great-grand-child Erik Nilsen. She also leaves to mourn sisters Élisa (Henri) Dion and Annette (Armand) Bosc; brother-in-law Laurent (Georgette) Bosc; sisters-in-law Rose Kolly and Corrine Bosc; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and in Switzerland.
Marie was predeceased by her father in 1973, her mother in 1991, brothers Raymond and Adrien, sister Agathe.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Foyer Notre-Dame for their compassion and professional care.
The funeral service will be held at Notre Dame Church on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Family interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, memoriams may be made to Vent-de-trembles/Aspen Winds Box 297 Notre-Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0 or to the Notre Dame Health Foundation Box 190 Notre-Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0.
