RENE T. BARSALOU, DATE OF PASSING: AUG 19, 2011; Peacefully, after battling a long illness at the Riverview Health Centre on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the age of 85, Rene passed away. He is survived by his beloved wife Rose, and sons Brian (Margret), Terrence (Cheryl), Mark and Drew, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a large extended family and many friends. He is predeceased by his son Scott (Victoria), and one grandchild. The funeral will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Prayers and eulogy will be Friday, August 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., both at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Road. F. ROSE BARSALOU, DATE OF PASSING: FEB 22, 2015; Peacefully, in the comfort of her own home, on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the age of 94, Rose passed away. Rose is survived by her sons Brian (Margret), Terrence (Cheryl), Mark, Drew, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, a large extended family and many friends. She is predeceased by Rene, her husband of 65 years; son Scott (Victoria) and one grandchild. Prayers and eulogy will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 5, at St. Gianna Roman Catholic Church, 15 Columbia Drive.
