She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 65 years, Hermas, her 4 sons Normand (Dorothy), Jules (Shannon), Michel (Monique), Richard (Louise), her daughter Liliane (Graydon), her grandchildren Lisa, Shaun, Matthew, Jennifer (Jamie), Jason (Sherri), Leanne, Marc, Micheline (Eric), Graydon (Seyoung) and her great- grandchildren Shaylyn & Tyson. She also leaves her brothers Roger (Margaret), Raymond (Tina), Rolly (Dorothy), Marcel (Lieve) and her sister-in-law Lorraine.
She was predeceased by her parents Raphael and Madeleine Brick, and her brother Maurice.
Mom was very devoted to her family. She liked to get together for a meal especially a wiener roast. She enjoyed the outdoors and would often sit outside in the sunshine, quietly with nature. She loved to travel and enjoyed many holidays with Dad travelling in the USA. She had a great memory and would often amaze everyone with her recollection of details. After Mom & Dad sold the farm in Haywood, they moved to St. Claude then to Winnipeg and eventually back to St. Claude in 2010. She said she came home again. She will always be remembered for being kind and forever cheerful.
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the St. Claude Health Centre and the Portage District Hospital for their care and kindness to our Mom.
