The story has been brought forward to this site as follows:
I began doing this search for my Uncle George. He is the son of Onesime Bruneau and Aurise Bouvier.
At the time, there was a brick wall beyond Onesime. I set out to connect Onesime Bruneau to his Quebec ancestors.
Various census records his father as Alberiane, Alberu and Albert. I started from there.
Both documented "Proof" and circumstantial evidence point to the following:
Two brothers, Onezime and Zepherin Bruneau, emigrated to Minnesota from Quebec around mid 1880's. Another brother, Theophile moved to Manitoba same time frame.
Marriage records show that Onezime Bruneau was married in Quebec, to Celina Bellemare and Zepherin Bruneau was married to Marie Claire Georgeana McMurray.
Several children were born to Onezime and Celina while living in Quebec, in
