LORNE JAMES KREAMER, BORN: MAR 31, 1927, DATE OF PASSING: JUL 20, 2007; It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Kreamer of Petersfield. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Mildred of 47 years; brother Lloyd (Helen); sisters, Hazel Schofield and Maemie (Ray Pfeifer); sisters-in-law Frances (Roy Taylor) and Muriel Kiziuk; brother-in-law Gordon (Barbara Kiziuk) and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, James and Lena Kramer; brothers, Ray and Roy; sisters, Mae (Emil Nelson) and Ruby (Victor Rogoski). Lorne was born in Cavalier, North Dakota and came to Canada at an early age. He farmed and also worked different jobs in the winter. He enjoyed the outdoors and in particular hunting and ice fishing. Thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the Selkirk General Hospital for all their excellent care. Funeral service will be held on Wed. July 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with the Ven. Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Viewing for one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the St. George's Cemetery, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Selkirk Palliative Care. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
