      Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg, with interment at Silver Cemetery. Reception to follow at Silver Community Centre.

      Peacefully and courageously, surrounded by his family and friends, Eddie passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the age of 70.

      Loving husband for 37 years to Carol (Smith). Dear father of Rebecca Holmsten (Henry) of Ottawa and step-father to Susan (Farnquist) Maher (Michael) of Pittsburgh, PA. Grandfather to Christopher Holmsten and Shea and Sadie Maher. Brother of Jim (Mary) and Marion Stobert of Arborg, Manitoba and Jean Piche.

      Eddie will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends, especially Mike and Nancy Hill and Bruce and Lucie Hoffman.
      <br>Eddie was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

      Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend John Mazarella officiating.
