Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St Adolphe Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the local cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Wilfrid and Leon three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bruce, Mrs. Alphonse Forest and Mrs. J. L. Courchalne; one brother Alfred Breland: thirty-two grandchildren, one hundred great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Winnipeg Free Press, Tuesday, January 10, 1961, page 22.
