She enjoyed travelling through the mountains by train, and playing bingo and baseball earlier in her life. Mother's greatest joys were being with her family for Sunday dinners, birthdays, and especially celebrating Christmas. The family wishes to thank the compassionate caregivers at the Poseidon Personal Care Home, Victoria General Hospital, Riverside Lions Seniors Residence and the Charleswood Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Respecting our mother's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private gathering will take place at a later date with family and friends.
