She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Polson of Winnipeg, and was predeceased by eight siblings. Gertrude will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call at the Gilbert MacIntyre Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, on Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Vigil for Gertrude will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Winnipeg, at a later date.
