      <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;David was a blacksmith.&nbsp; He may have originally hailed from Wigtown, Scotland.&nbsp; It is also possible he sailed from Wigtown to America (PA) in 1772.</p><p>David S Irland, Sr., Veteran of the French and Indian War, took up to 1000 acres around 3 Apr 1796 to pay for his war services.</p>
