      "NO INQUEST ON DEATH OF MARCHAND FARMER


      Fred Morand Accidentally Shot After Wolf Hunting


      No inquest will be held into the death of Fred Morand, farmer of Marchand, Man., who it was found on investigation, bled to death from a wound he received when his gun accidentally discharged. He had been out wolfhunting and on returning missed his footing and the gun was discharged, the bullet entering his thigh. Investigation was made by Constable Mitchell of the provincial police force together with Dr. W.P.  McCowan of Winnipeg, who performed the post mortem examination."
