Mamie is survived by her children: Victor (Pat), Don, Veronica / Roni (Allan Stone), and Dave; grandchildren: Michael, Iain (Erika), Matthew (Kirsten), Trevor, Tracy (Murray), Justin, Stephanie; step-grandchildren: Tricia (Will), David (Christine); great-grandchildren: Charlie, Graeme; step-great-grandchildren: Denise, Emily, Joanna, Austin and Tabyn. Also left to mourn are her loving cousins, sister-in-law Mae and niece Carol. She was predeceased by her two sisters Rose (Joe Palecek) and Frances (Joe Markowski), and by brothers-in-law Kas and John Sokalski. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Thanks to Dr. Buie and to the staff of Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavillion for their exceptional, heartfelt care.
