First of all, I did not grow up in what we think of as a normal  family; mother, father and children. My family consisted of my mother Eleanor, My father Isaac Thomas Snow, my maternal Grandmother Christinia Close, my mothers brother Abner Close, my half brother Daniel Keene, myself Virginia Snow, and my younger brother James Loren Snow. My grandmother being Irish, and my father coming from Tennessee with a southern back ground. I was torn betwen the two cultures. The fact that my father was fourty- four years old when I was born and since the majority of men worked in the logging camops, my father was away from home most of the time. I never felt the closeness of a father until I was 10 or 11 yrs old. He always seemed like a grandfather to me.
