VERONIQUE SINCLAIR, DATE OF PASSING: AUG 02, 2000; Peacefully on August 2, 2000 at Hillcrest Personal Care Home in Brandon, MB, Veronique Mary Sinclair, passed away at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her parents, Alphonse (1951) and Marie Lambert (1950) her loving husband Harold (1993) seven sisters; four brothers; five sisters-in-law; and nine brothers-in-law. Mom will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son Norman (Carell) daughters, Doreen (John) Glutek, Lucille (Idris) Cooney; sisters, Blanche Bruneau of St. Claude, MB, Marie Richard of Chico, CA, Yvonne (Cleo) Richard of Chico, CA; sisters-in-law, Anne Sinclair, Maria Lambert, Cecile Lambert; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Veronique was born July 2, 1908 in Winnipeg. The family moved to St. Claude where she grew up on the farm. At age 27 she married Harold Sinclair and resided in Winnipeg and raised three children. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved hosting family dinners. She was a great cook. A special enjoyment was the family cottage at Grand Beach with her husband and her children. She also enjoyed gardening, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, as well as travelling and watching late night TV movies. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearer are her grandchildren, Mike, Jason, Tyler and Dana Glutek, Gerald Sinclair; sons-in-law John Glutek and Idris Cooney. In lieu of flowers, donations in Veroniques memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Special thanks go out to the staff at Hillcrest Personal Care Home in Brandon and Rev. Michael Boulger. Funeral services were held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 8. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
