JOHN DZIEDZIC, BORN: FEB 22, 1922, DATE OF PASSING: MAY 07, 2005; Suddenly on May 7, 2005. John is survived by his loving wife Stephanie of 51 years and by their six children, Donna (Gord), Roseanne (Owen), Kenny, Tom (Bonnie), Linda (Murray), Raymond (Susan); and by their 12 grandchildren, Tyra, Trisha, Jonathan; Jana (Michael), Jared; Danya, Amanda, Anthony; Carah, Duncan; Tyler, Julia. John is also survived by numerous other loving family members, namely, brothers, Kasmir (Marie), Kasper (Pearl), Mike, Tom (Hazel), Steve (Marie), Eddy (Helen), Peter, Frank (Diane), Victor (Charlene) and Andy (Jeanie); sisters, Helen, Rose, Theresa (Cliff) and Carol (Tom); sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily, Sandra and Zenny; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his father Anthony, and his mother Maggie, and also by brothers and sisters, Alex, Pat (Joe), Joe (Mary), Bernice, Marion, Jessie (George), Carle, Donnie (Louise), and by brothers and sisters-in-law, John, George, Nick, John, Sophia and Louise. John was born in Polson, MB on February 22, 1922. He was the eighth oldest of 23 children. At age 23 years old, after the passing of his father, John worked on the family farm as well as away, to help his mother raise his brothers and sisters. In November, 1953 he married Steffie Shulha. They lived on the family farm for one year then moved one mile north to their present homestead. There they farmed together and raised their six children with great love and guidance. John was blessed with 12 grandchildren. He always loved to see all of his family come home for a good meal and family time. He enjoyed many trips with his wife to the U.S. and to their cabin in Manitou, SK. John continued living on the homestead in Inwood with his wife and enjoyed helping his two youngest sons, Tom and Raymond, farm until his passing. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Teulon Rockwood Hall in Teulon. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers are Orest Rybachuk, Leonard Dziedzic, Randy Dziedzic, Alex Shulha, Jack Korolyk and Wilfred Maskow. We would like all of John's family and friends to consider themselves as Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers please make donations in John/Dad's memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Mary's Cemetery, Polson, MB, in care of Florence Chic, Inwood, MB, R0C 1P0. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
