Ted was born in 1930 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. The family was living in Fort Whyte, MB. The only address I have is 895 Fort Whyte. It was close to the cement plant where John was working.

Ted attended King Edward School, then Earl Grey Junior High and graduated from Kelvin High School finishing Grade Twelve.
He worked for Liquid Air in1949/1950. In 1951 he joined the Royal Bank and was in Winnipeg until being transferred to The Pas in November of that year. He left in the spring of 1952 to return to Winnipeg.
