      YVONNE GAGNE, DATE OF PASSING: JUL 03, 2019; After a brief illness, on July 3, 2019, Yvonne Gagne passed away in her residence at Actionmarguerite (Tache Centre) in St. Boniface at the age of 91.
      She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Donald (Joan) Gagne, Roland (Laurie) Gagne, Liliane (Eric) Dyck, Marilyn Gagne, Diane Gagne, Gisele (Ronald) Dubois and Marcel (Laura) Gagne; grandchildren, Nicholas Gagne, Lindsay (Dave) Lane, Larissa (Patrick) Woodhead, Randall Dyck, Tyler (Megan) Dyck, Angele Dubois, Daniel Dubois, Philippe Dubois and Julien (Amy) Dubois and four great-grandchildren.
      Yvonne leaves behind two brothers, Denis (Irene) Gobin and Roland Gobin and sister Elise Lacroix.
      Born in St. Claude, MB in 1928, Yvonne married Mathieu Gagne in 1949 and raised her family of seven children on a farm in St. Claude until 1966 when they moved to St. Boniface. Yvonne was very devoted to her family and loved by everyone who knew her.
      Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street in St. Boniface at 7:30 p.m. Viewing will begin at 7:00 p.m.
      Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Eglise Precieux-Sang (Precious Blood Church), 200 Kenny Street in St. Boniface with viewing one half hour prior to Mass. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.

      MATHIEU GAGNE, DATE OF PASSING: MAR 27, 2007; Suddenly, on March 27, 2007, Mathieu Gagné passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Yvonne of 58 years; his children, Donald (Joan), Roland (Laurie), Liliane (Eric) Dyck, Marilyn Gagné, Gisèle (Ronald) Dubois and Marcel (Laura); grandchildren, Nicholas, Lindsay, Larissa, Randy, Tyler, Angèle, Daniel, Philippe, Julien and one great-grandchild Brianna. He leaves behind two brothers, Gérard (Madeleine), Benoit (Antonia) and three sisters, Germaine Savard of Chilliwack, BC, Angèle Chappellaz of St. Claude, MB and Cécile (Georges) Choiselat of St. Boniface. Mathieu was born in Storthoaks, SK in 1919. He served in the army for five years in Canada and Europe. He farmed in St. Claude for 20 years. Mathieu moved to Winnipeg and worked for Eaton's for 15 years. After retiring from Eaton's, he and his wife Yvonne did numerous paint jobs for about 15 years in St. Boniface. Prayers will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street at 7:00 p.m. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Précieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street, with viewing one half hour prior to Mass. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
