Louise was born in Win".nipeg on October 8, 1925, daughter of the late Charles and Marie Asher and had lived in the Winnipeg Beach area for most of her life. She had served in the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 16, Winnipeg Beach. Louise was predeceased by her husband on December 14, 2001; a daughter Leanore (Lee) on May 4, 1987; a son Keith on April 4, 1987; and a brother Alfred in 1947. Left surviving is a son Warren (Betty) of Winnipeg Beach; grand-children, Dana (Jason), Twila (Brad), David, Leah (Raj), Eddie, Christie, Brandy, Heather and Adam; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Peter, Dylan, Jayda, Austin and Kaelen; and brothers, Bert (June) of Selkirk and Chuck (Fran) of Winnipeg Beach; sisters, Dora (Doug) of Saanichton, BC and Marie (Ed) of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Winnipeg Beach United Church with Rev. Lynn Stevens officiating. Interment of ashes will follow in the Winnipeg Beach Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the Winnipeg Beach Legion. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Adam was born at Matlock, MB, on December 13, 1921, son of the late J".oseph and Anna Kelner, and had lived in the Winnipeg Beach area for most of his life. He had served overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 61, Winnipeg Beach. Adam leaves surviving, his wife Louise; son Warren (Betty) of Winnipeg Beach; grandchildren, Dana (Jason), Twila (Brad), David, Leah (Raj), Eddie, Christie, Brandy, Heather and Adam; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Parker, and Dylan; stepmother Mary Kelner; daughter-in-law Susan; sisters, Elizabeth, Rose, Nel, and Vickie (John) and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Leanore (Lee) on May 4, 1987, and a son Keith on April 4, 1987; six brothers, Joe, Adolph, Dave, Vic, Charlie, and Frank; and a sister Millie. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Winnipeg Beach United Church with Rev. Lynn Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnipeg Beach Community Cemetery.
