STEPHANIE KWASNICKI (PAYUK), DATE OF PASSING: SEP 02, 2001; Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and her family, at St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday September 2, 2001 after a brief and unexpected battle with cancer. Always a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, Stephanie leaves to mourn her daughters, Valerie Huzel (Norman), St. Andrews, and Karen Rempel (Paul), Toronto; beloved granddaughters, Elaine Hrysio (Craig), Birds Hill and Candace Huzel, Los Angeles. She is survived by her sister Julia Baluk and predeceased by her brothers, Alexander and John Paiuk, and by her loving husband Walter. The family wishes to express sincerest thanks for the compassionate and dignified care she received from the Palliative Care staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Wednesday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 10:00 a.m. with. Fr. B. Kyba, C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements.
