It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "DENISE DAUDET, BORN: MAR 24, 1932, DATE OF PASSING: DEC 15, 2023; Le 15 décembre 2023, Maman a rejoint l’amour de sa vie, son époux Antoine Daudet.
Her love for Dad was endearing, a model of devotion and commitment. They just recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. Family was so important to Mom. She was most happy when family would gather for a meal that she had lovingly prepared. Wherever Mom went, she easily made friends with her beautiful smile and welcoming, loving nature.
Mom was a very creative and talented person enjoying cooking, sewing, quilting, painting, and crafts of all kinds. Her time spent at the cottage in St-Malo were years of relaxation, family, and crafting. Mom also loved to dance! With tenacity and patience, Dad learned to dance to Mom’s delight.
Mom was very thoughtful and attentive to others in need and endeavoured to support family and friends. She was a good listener and offered sound advice. She would remind us to ‘’Be good to yourself’’ in good times as well as difficult times.
A funeral mass will be held on February 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., at Précieux-Sang Church, 200 Kenny Street.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Fondation Actionmarguerite St-Boniface or Alzheimer Society of Manitoba https://alzheimer.mb.ca/ or a charity of your choice.
