She passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Yvette was born in Saint-Malo on April 12, 1931 in a family of 17 children. She married Henri in 1955 and shortly after, they moved to the city. She starting working at the St-Boniface Hospital and then continued her career at St-Amant Centre. She took great pride in her work for over 27 years but always had time for her family. Being together at mealtime was always a priority: a belief that she instilled in her children. Yvette enjoyed taking classes in pottery, painting, ceramics, needlepoint and other crafting projects. Gardening was also a great pastime of hers, tending to her garden and planting flowers together with Henri. On weekends, Yvette and Henri would spend their time in Saint-Malo with their children and grandchildren at their cabin by the river. Many great memories will forever be cherished of those days together. Yvette also looked forward to the curling season to watch and cheer for her favourite teams. She also enjoyed to bowl and after her retirement, she took up golf. Henri and her spent many years golfing during the day and taking up dancing at night. She took many trips and Europe being her last. She was an amazing mother and an even better grandmother. Une maman formidable donne toujours une grand-mère exceptionnelle. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Henri, of 57 years and two children Leonard (Sheryl Fontaine) and Brigitte Graff (her friend Noël Gérardy), her grandchildren: Lisa (Bill Hettrick), Gina, Trevor, Stéphanie, Christine, Marie and Patrick, her great-grandchildren: Liam and Caleb. -------
