It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "GABRIELLE CHARETTE; Born: Jan 19, 1920; Date of Passing: Apr 06, 2003; Gabrielle Charette went to be with her Lord peacefully April 6, 2003 after a long illness. Gabrielle was born January 19, 1920 in St. Claude, MB to Eugene and Antoinette Robart".. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg moving to British Columbia in 1972. The last 13 years of her life were spent on an acreage in Chilliwack, BC where she loved tending her outdoor fires, picking berries and helping in the garden. She is predeceased by her parents and seven sisters. Left to mourn her are her children, Ruby Harrison, Hazel (Brian) Girdwood, Terry (Jack) Grassick, Charlie (Gisele) Charette, Maurice Charette, Louise (Roger) Gerardy, Louis (Maureen) Charette, Suzanne (Gary) Parbery and Lorraine (Kenny) Viegas. She is also survived by her brother Ulric (Marguerite) Robart; 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. A service of Remembrance will be held at First Avenue Christian Assembly in Chilliwack, BC on Friday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Elmer Martin officiating. Special thanks to Dr. Quentin Smith for his excellent care and compassion in treating our mother.
